Descripción del trabajoHandle a caseload of employment wage-and-hour and consumer class and representative actions in California state and federal courts Draft complaints discovery requests and responses motions and legal briefs in complex civil litigation matters Conduct written and oral discovery including depositions preparation and gain opportunities to take and defend depositions as you grow Argue motions and appear in court for hearings conferences and other proceedings as assigned Assist with case strategy legal research and analysis to support class certification dispositive motions and settlement Communicate with clients co-counsel and opposing counsel keeping clients informed and supported throughout the litigation process Collaborate with attorneys paralegals and staff to manage deadlines filings and case workflows efficiently Travel occasionally within California for hearings mediations depositions and other case-related needs Licensed to practice law in California or licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction and pending admission to the California Bar 13 years of civil litigation experience including discovery motion practice and some court appearances Prior experience with class actions complex litigation or wage-and-hour / employment law is strongly preferred Excellent legal research writing and oral advocacy skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Professional reliable work history and a genuine interest in plaintiff-side advocacy and workers rights Youll join a mission-driven team that fights for employees and consumers against powerful corporations and employers Youll get hands-on experience and real courtroom exposure with mentorship from experienced class action litigators Youll receive competitive compensation ($130000$170000 DOE) medical dental vision 401(k) PTO and the opportunity to grow with a multi-state firm in active expansion Dental insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance

Location : On-site in Irvine CA. Youll work from a modern Orange County office thats easily commutable from Irvine Santa Ana Anaheim Garden Grove Costa Mesa and surrounding areas.
Note : You must be licensed to practice law in California (or licensed elsewhere and pending CA Bar admission) have 13 years of civil litigation experience and be able to work on-site full-time in Irvine with occasional travel.
