About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 1 year in ICU

License : Active nursing license

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS

Must-Have :

Previous charge experience : Minimum 2 years

Experience with patient ratios of 1 : 2

Charting system experience : Epic

Arterial line management skills

Care of ventilated patients

Central line care / management experience

Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure

Ventilator management skills

Description :

This position requires floating between units as needed.

Weekends are required as needed.

The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 2.

Special requirements include arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure.

The unit has interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities.

Must have a vehicle for this assignment.

Compliance with time-off requests is required before submission.

References covering the last year are required prior to starting.

Candidates must commit to working three of the five holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

All specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process.

Inflexibility toward the contracted schedule may lead to termination of the contract.
