Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of patient care records for your assigned caseload.
  • Report billing information accurately for all patients in your care.
  • Deliver direct patient care according to treatment plans, including assessment and evaluation.
  • Assist with transfers, gait, and balance assessments as needed to support patient mobility.
  • Interpret treatment results and report findings appropriately.
  • Engage in the development and delivery of in-service training as needed.
  • Supervise support staff in your immediate area as necessary.
  • Conduct clinical functions such as screenings, evaluations, treatment planning, and implementation according to facility, state, Medicare, and TMC policies.
  • Participate in necessary meetings concerning patient care.
  • Contribute to community education and public relations activities for the facility when appropriate.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and therapy goals.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute established treatment plans.
  • Adhere to the APTA Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
  • Keep records compliant with practice settings, third-party payers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Support program planning and development initiatives.
  • Formulate discharge plans when maximum benefit has been achieved and ensure follow-up as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications :

  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current license / certification for the state of practice.
