Associate General Counsel

Job Description

Our client, a leading Commercial Real Estate Firm are seeking to hire a Real Estate Counsel to join their team.

This is a high-impact role supporting acquisitions, loans, and development transactions across a diverse portfolio of operationally essential real estate assets nationwide.

The position reports directly to the General Counsel

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage outside counsel throughout the acquisition lifecycle
• Lead closing schedules and ensure timely transaction execution
• Structure acquisition and loan terms in collaboration with the Investment Team
• Review and analyze due diligence reports (title, survey, zoning, environmental)
• Negotiate and finalize key deal documents including PSAs, leases, and loan agreements
• Provide legal guidance to Deal Managers and internal stakeholders
• Approve settlement statements and support internal process improvements

Qualifications :

Cash Compensation Range : $300k - $350k + Equity

Total Compensation Range : $400 - $450k
