\n Shift : M-Th 10-hour days with call on Fri, Sat & Sun; then switch to nights M-Th 10-hour days with Fri, Sat & Sun off. This rotation repeats.

\n\n CERTIFICATION AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS \n \n
Valid and current licensure in the State of California as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (must be active and current).\nRequired certifications within 6 months of hire : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, OSHA Respirator Fit Testing certification (must be obtained within 3 months of hire).\n\n\n Preferred Education & Experience \n \n
High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by at least an associate’s degree in Respiratory Care.\nMinimum of 1 year of clinical experience; strong recommendations considered for new graduates.\nMandatory PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) experience.\n\n\n What You Bring \n \n
Strong clinical skills in respiratory assessment and therapy.\nProficiency in advanced procedures such as intubations, aerosol delivery, and patient assessments.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.\nExcellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare staff.\nFlexibility to adapt to shift rotations and diverse clinical settings.\nPhysical ability to lift up to 40 lbs., sit, stand, and perform intermittent movements during shifts.\nCommitment to professionalism, safety protocols, and continuous learning.\n\n\n Key Responsibilities \n \n
Administer and monitor respiratory treatments per physician orders.\nConduct respiratory assessments and develop individualized care plans.\nAssist with advanced airway procedures, including intubations and aerosol therapy.\nCollaborate effectively with healthcare teams and communicate clearly with patients.\nMaintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress.\nEnsure compliance with safety standards, including OSHA and PPE protocols.\nRespond promptly and effectively to emergency situations.\nParticipate in ongoing training and professional development.\nSupport patient education and discharge planning as needed.\nPerform additional duties to support departmental operations.\n\n\n Working Conditions & Physical Requirements \n \n
