Researcher in Neuroimmunology (B)

Department of Psychiatry

University of California, San Francisco

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is now recruiting an Assistant, Associate, or Full Specialist. The position duties include :

• Utilize Cre-loxP system to generate and maintain conditional knockout mouse models.
• Manage and maintain neurodegenerative diseases mouse models including Alzheimer's disease.
• Perform in vivo experimental procedures including virus injections and engineered T cell administrations in mouse models.
• Perform in vitro primary culture of neurons and glial cells for functional and mechanistic studies.
• Assess and analyze mouse brain phenotypes to evaluate therapeutic effects and disease progression.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and execute research projects.
• Assist in preparing manuscripts, presentations, and grant proposals related to ongoing research.
• Present research findings at seminars, conferences, and lab meetings.
