Clearance Specialist

A company is looking for a Clearance Specialist to support their Specialty Infusion Pharmacy remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Process new referrals, including verifying patient eligibility and coordinating benefits

Calculate estimated patient financial responsibility and secure prior authorizations

Communicate with patients and referral sources regarding referral status and coverage updates

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

At least 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy and / or medical intake / reimbursement experience preferred

Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines

Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel & Word

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
