    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cisco Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Cisco products and technologies, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Cisco-based network solutions. This role requires a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills to support and enhance our network infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities

    Network Design and Implementation

    • Design, implement, and manage Cisco-based network solutions
    • Ensure optimal performance of network systems, including LAN, WAN, routers, and switches -
    • Network Security

    • Implement and monitor security protocols to protect network from threats
    • Develop and maintain secure network architectures -
    • Troubleshooting and Support

    • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software network issues
    • Provide tier 2 / 3 support for network-related incidents -
    • Configuration and Management

    • Configure Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices
    • Manage network performance and optimize traffic / load -
    • Documentation and Reporting

    • Maintain clear and accurate network documentation
    • Prepare and present reports on network performance and improvements -
    • Collaboration and Training

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate network needs
    • Train junior staff in network operations and Cisco technology
    • Requirements

      Education & Certification

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) required; Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred
    • Experience

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a network engineer, particularly with Cisco products
    • Proven ability to manage and improve large-scale network environment
    • Technical Skills

    • Expertise in routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP
    • Experience with Cisco's IP Telephony and Unified Communications
    • Working knowledge of firewall and security configurations
    • Soft Skills

    • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Preferred Skills

    • Familiarity with network monitoring tools like Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, or Nagios
    • Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) concepts and implementation
    • Knowledge of virtual networking and cloud-based Cisco solutions
