Position

Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer

Move the Needle. Earn the right to do more.

Market leading manufacturer of engineered-to-order, high reliability, precision products for defense and industrial applications seeks a site Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer. In this important position, you will :

  • Serve as the right-hand-man to the site Continuous Improvement Manager;
  • Drive Continuous Improvement roadmap initiatives related to both manufacturing and transactional processes;
  • Influence organization's leadership team; and
  • Participate in GEMBA Walks and SCQDP board reviews.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of manufacturing experience (high mix, low volume machining and assembly environment highly preferred)
  • Lean Manufacturing tools trained
  • Quick Response Manufacturing experience as taught by the University of Wisconsin, Madison, highly preferred and will put you at the top of the list for consideration if you have it
  • Track record of effectively solving problems to move the needle, i.e. made $, saved $, reduced, improved
  • Confident
  • Hands-on

    • Receive mentorship and direction to become the site Continuous Improvement Manager.
