Ability to manage various wound care procedures and patient assessments.

Description :

This position is for a Wound Care Registered Nurse.

The role involves providing specialized care for patients with various types of wounds.

Candidates should have experience with wound management techniques and assessment tools.

The position requires strong interpersonal skills to educate patients and families.

Wound care experience in pediatric populations is preferred.

The nurse will handle various wound care supplies and treatments.

Knowledge of infection control standards and practices is essential.

Candidates should be available to work in a teaching hospital environment.

Wound care experience with advanced therapies, such as negative pressure wound therapy, is a plus.

Flexibility to work in a dynamic healthcare environment is required.

The hospital employs a daily census of approximately 150 patients.

Wound care focus includes adult and pediatric populations.

Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is expected.

Management of ostomy care and traumatic wounds will be part of the responsibilities.
