PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT - ARCHBOLD MITCHELL HOSPITAL

Position Description :

• Implement and document patient treatment per plan of care developed by the therapist across the age continuum (pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric)
• Provide formal and informal teaching of patients / residents and family
• Understand and implement a plan of care and recognize the need for intervention by the Physical Therapist
• Communicate effectively both written and verbally with other healthcare personnel, the patient, family, and community members
• Assist patients in practicing skills in mobility and exercise
