The Superior Court of California, County of Riverside is seeking a Human Resources Analyst / Trainer to play a key role in shaping employee experiences through innovative engagement programs, training initiatives, and professional development opportunities.

The Role

As a Human Resources Analyst / Trainer, you will focus on building a workplace where employees feel supported, valued, and prepared to succeed. Key responsibilities include :

  • Employee Engagement – support Court-wide initiatives that strengthen connection, morale, and collaboration.
  • Training & Development – research, design, and deliver training programs; develop job aids and training manuals; evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Professional Growth – coordinate career development opportunities, mentorship, and intern / extern programs to cultivate the next generation of Court professionals.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following :

  • Option I : Bachelor’s degree in HR, Public / Business Administration, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, or related field plus two (2) years of technical / paraprofessional HR experience.
  • Option II : HR Certificate program (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) plus three (3) years of technical / paraprofessional HR experience.
  • Preferred Requirements :

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, both in virtual settings and in person.
  • Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs.
  • Knowledge of employee engagement strategies and adult learning techniques.
  • Valid California Class C Driver’s License or ability to utilize alternative transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions countywide.

    Riverside is the fourth largest county in California and the 10th largest in the United States.     The HR Analyst / Trainer will receive :
