Overview

Job Profile : Join our fun, high-energy team as a Senior Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending and apply your knowledge of home lending products to serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the life of the loan, while the Home Lending team supports you with expertise in this area. You will adhere to regulatory requirements while marketing and promoting Chase financial products. As a Senior Home Lending Advisor, you will guide clients on a first-class journey to home ownership and deliver strong sales results, acting as the customers' chief point of contact for the life of the loan. Job responsibilities

  • Coaches and mentors the branch team by providing training on products and services.
  • Works with bankers, meeting with their customers and introducing new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
  • Partners with your team to create an outstanding customer experience by utilizing centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.
  • Develops a strong partnership with the assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations (in footprint territories) and can function well within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
  • Builds the role as the internal and external mortgage expert; maintains good relationships with customers; and uses consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and understanding of the customer's financial needs, goals, and circumstances.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum three years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
  • Knowledge of real estate market in local area.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • FHA / VA sales experience.
  • Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
  • Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and / or real estate.
  • This position is subject to the Dodd-Frank / Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. An employment offer is contingent on JPMorgan Chase's review of criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and other information relevant to determining financial responsibility and fitness for the position. Note that any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration. Continued employment is contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act / Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements.

    In addition, this position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon active employment, you will be required to register on NMLS or update your existing registration to reflect employment with JPMorgan Chase. Continued employment is contingent upon compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration immediately after start date and timely renewal and updates thereafter. Information obtained during registration or through NMLS notifications may impact employment.
