Guest Interaction and Seating :

  • Welcoming Guests : Greeting guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and creating a positive first impression.
  • Managing Reservations : Checking in guests with reservations, confirming details, and ensuring efficient seating.
  • Seating Guests : Escorting guests to their tables and providing menus.
  • Waitlist Management : Handling waitlists during busy periods and providing accurate wait time estimations.
  • Providing Information : Answering guest questions about the menu, specials, or other restaurant information.
  • Coordination with Staff : Communicating with waitstaff about table availability and seating arrangements.
  • Assisting with Side Work : Helping with tasks like setting tables, clearing dirty dishes, or restocking supplies as needed.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness : Ensuring the reception area and waiting areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Taking Orders : Accurately record customer orders, whether through phone, in-person, or online, ensuring all details are correct.
  • Cash Handling : Handle money transactions accurately and efficiently, operating the point-of-sale system.
