NOW HIRING : Accounting Manager | Hybrid in the Bay Area (3 days / week onsite)

We're partnering with a high-growth, mission-driven investment firm that's redefining what it means to serve clients in financial services. With offices across the Bay Area, this team is known for its entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative environment, and leadership style that prioritizes development, transparency, and impact.

We're seeking an Accounting Manager to support the expanding finance function. This is a hybrid role (Tues–Thurs in-office) based out of Foster City, Lafayette, or San Francisco

Compensation :

Bonus : 10% discretionary
Equity : Typically 2x base salary

What You'll Be Doing :

Lead month-end and quarter-end close across multiple entities

Review journal entries and financials for both management companies and owner entities

Oversee intercompany reconciliations and entity allocations

Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and lease amortization

Lead cash disbursement and capital return processes

Coordinate audits, compliance filings, and tax documentation

Optimize processes and automation using NetSuite and Expensify

Supervise and mentor one Operations Accountant

What We're Looking For :

6+ years of progressive accounting experience

Background in financial services, investment firms, commercial banking, asset management, private equity, VC, or REITs (preferred)

Experience with multi-entity accounting and GAAP compliance

Proficient in NetSuite and Excel (Expensify a plus)

CPA or working toward licensure (preferred)

Clear communicator, strong attention to detail, and thrives in high-performance environments
