Job Description:
Pitney Bowes is now hiring for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor in our Rancho Dominguez, CA Presort facility!
Salary range: $70,400.00 - $73,000.00 annual salary + 6% field bonus.
As part of our commitment to a flexible work schedule, this role does not have a set amount of vacation per year.
1st Shift:
Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
You Are:
As an Operations Supervisor you will work with the team to meet the company's productivity standards and requirements. This helps our clients earn the best possible discounts on First-Class® and Standard® postage with our presort services. Responsible for overseeing the production workers on designated shift. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and solving problems. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
Oversee quality function throughout the production area. Assure TQM (Total Quality Management) processes and procedures are followed at all times
Assist Operations Manager in completing required USPS and internal reports, job costing reports and application of all USPS postal regulations. Assure clear and concise communication of pertinent information between shifts
Offer suggestions regarding increasing efficiency of use of equipment, working conditions, and motivation of employees.

Your Background:
Ability to work Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, or current maximum allowed by your State. Walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodation
Based on operational needs must be willing and able to work as needed, including weekends, holidays, days off and/or a different shift with limited or no advance notice
