Family Law Paralegal
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join a well-established regional firm in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on family law experience and be comfortable supporting two partners and three associates with a range of complex legal matters.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution-strongly recommended
Experience: Please have recent experience as a family law paralegal, specifically within a litigation setting.
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of family law procedures, including dissolution of marriage, child custody and support, equitable distribution, alimony, and post-judgment modifications/enforcements.
Skills: Strong drafting, organizational, calendaring, and case management skills. Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be dependable, proactive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Certifications: Paralegal certification (such as from NALA or a similar organization) is preferred but not required.
You will be rewarded for your experience and hard work.
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience, up to $89,000 annually, plus an excellent benefits package. Possible hybrid opportunity after 90 days
