Facility : Sharp Memorial Hospital City : San Diego Department : Job Status : Regular Shift : Evening FTE : 0.6 Shift Start Time : 1 PM Shift End Time : 9 : 30 PM AWS Hours Requirement : 8 / 40 - 8 Hour Shift Weekend Requirements : Every Other On-Call Required : No Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum) : $25.000 - $27.640 - $30.490 This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with SEIU-UHW. As part of the terms of employment, employees in this role are required to join the union within 31 days of hire and remain a member (e.g. dues paying, fee paying, religious exception contributor) for the duration of the collective bargaining agreement.

What You Will Do

• Patient Transport assists with mobilizing patients using lift equipment and / or mobilization aids and other trained health care professional to provide safe and effective patient transports throughout the facility.
• Patient Transporters transport equipment, supplies, specimens, and patients using the transport tracking system; ensuring that the patients are monitored and the environmental pathway is safe for travel.
