Payroll Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a Payroll Manager.Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage payroll operations for a large, multi-location workforce
• Utilize payroll and timekeeping systems to ensure accurate and timely processing
• Supervise payroll team and ensure smooth day-to-day department activities
• Coordinate with managers to collect and validate time and attendance data
• Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee records and updates
• Prepare and review payroll reports for compliance and accuracy
• Handle payroll-related actions such as garnishments, employment verifications, and adjustments
• Maintain accurate leave and time-off balances
• Provide training and support to managers on timekeeping processes
• Partner with Accounting on payroll-related reconciliations and reporting
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and assist with state registrations as needed
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and support audits
• Perform additional duties as required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical / dental / vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
