This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located at customer's site. No relocation is offered. AT&T has an opening for a Senior Level (SME) Acquisitions Strategist to support the Department of State in Washington, D.C. on contract charged with performing and implementing the customer's acquisition strategies, ensuring alignment of organizational goals, and guidance within the regulatory requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of contracting principles, a mastery of structuring contracts to be flexible, spawn innovations, and adaptability over time and with growth of the organization. Must be proficient in acquisition strategy development, clear use of and understanding of the product development life cycle inclusive of agile methodologies, and have comprehensive knowledge of the federal acquisition regulations (FAR) or other relevant governing procurement and contracting regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement : Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program managers, legal advisors, and technical experts, to align acquisition strategies with mission objectives.
Negotiation and Vendor Management : Demonstrated ability to negotiate favorable terms and manage vendor relationships to ensure contract performance and accountability.
Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to address complex acquisition challenges and develop creative solutions.
