Tax Manager : FIN3003

Location : Portland, OR

About Us We are a respected public accounting firm committed to providing exceptional tax, accounting, and advisory services. Our culture emphasizes collaboration, client service, and professional growth. We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our leadership team.

Position Overview The Tax Manager will lead client engagements, provide high-level tax planning, and oversee staff development. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to client service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage preparation and review of complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and fiduciaries
  • Provide advanced tax planning and consulting services
  • Oversee multiple client engagements, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff
  • Stay current on tax regulations and compliance requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (Masters in Taxation preferred)
  • CPA license required
  • 5+ years of public accounting tax experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong technical tax knowledge and leadership abilities
