Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law and litigation, with experience in handling complex cases across various sectors, including corporate, financial services, and real estate. The role involves representing clients in disputes, preparing for trial, and providing strategic advice to navigate the complexities of commercial litigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in commercial litigation matters in court and before regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
  • Assist in trial preparation, including drafting trial briefs and coordinating witnesses.
  • Manage complex litigation cases, ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.
  • Participate in dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration.
  • Advise clients on legal rights and obligations related to commercial disputes.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to build strong case strategies.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on dispute resolution.
  • Strong understanding of commercial law and litigation practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex legal issues.
  • Proven trial preparation skills and experience in litigation.
