HealthRIGHT 360 offers residential treatment services designed to serve individuals and families with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our program helps clients address addiction and related issues, increase skills, manage stressors, connect to supportive service, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Residential programs run 24 / 7 and Individual and group therapy, family therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, Medication support services, and crisis intervention.

The Prototypes Women's Center in Oxnard offers residential substance abuse treatment and detox services tailored specifically for women, including those who wish to involve their children in their journey to recovery. Our program in Ventura County aims to assist women in maintaining their progress in overcoming co-occurring disorders through a wide range of supportive services. Children can foster a secure attachment with their mothers in a secure setting, while also accessing mental health support and educational assistance. The facility can accommodate up to 56 women and 28 children for treatment.
The On Call Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) plays a vital role in delivering direct, in-person care and monitoring to clients enrolled in Residential and Withdrawal Management Programs. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager, the LVN provides care aligned with individualized treatment objectives. The LVN consistently upholds professional boundaries, adheres to nursing standards, and demonstrates cultural sensitivity. By treating all clients with respect, compassion, and empathy, and by collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team, LVN supports the delivery of high-quality care and promotes positive treatment outcomes. The On Call LVN provides coverage on all shifts as scheduled.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Care & Clinical Support
Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing care plan.
Monitor client care and treatment.
Assess and report on client behavioral changes.
Take and record accurate vital signs.
Observe universal precautions, including correct handling of bloodborne pathogens, storage of lab specimens, and disposal of infectious waste.
Maintain a safe environment for clients.
Interact with clients to support their participation in the program.
Assist with orientation, admission, transfer, and discharge of clients.
Medication Management
Provide timely updates and status reports to the physician for clients receiving withdrawal management, MAT, and / or with co-occurring mental disorders.
Facilitate filling of client prescriptions, and work with the pharmacy to ensure medications are delivered in a timely manner.
Pick up medications at the pharmacy as needed.
Audit the medication room and destroy medications as needed, per policy.
Maintain the medication book in compliance with all funder requirements and update it monthly.
Provide staff training on medication protocols and withdrawal management protocols, including vital signs, observations, and documentation.
Administration and Other Duties
Document client treatment progress, incident reports, and medical follow-ups.
Identify, report, and assist with the management of emergencies, and submit incident reports to the Program Director in a timely manner.
Adhere to professional standards.
Provide clerical support as assigned.
Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.
Attend and actively participate in meetings and supervision.
Maintain compliance with licensing requirements.
And perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Certification, or Licensure
Must have a valid license with California Board of Vocational Nursing.
Valid BLS Certification.
Valid California Driver's License and access to registered and insured transportation.
Experience
Experience working with dual diagnosis populations.
Nursing experience in community mental health, behavioral health, or recovery treatment centers preferred.
