Schedule 09 : 00 AM - 09 : 00 PM, every other weekend required. Job Description The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated and skilled registered nurse to provide care in a high-volume environment. The unit typically maintains a patient ratio of 4 : 1 for medical cases, which may increase to 7 : 1 for behavioral health holds. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a team known for its commitment to serving a diverse community. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department. Utilize AIDET principles to enhance patient experience and communication. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in triage and internal processing, working closely with techs and unit clerks. Adhere to hospital and unit policies, including attendance and floating to other ED sections as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of experience as a nurse, with at least 1 year in an emergency department setting. Experience in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred. Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC (within 90 days of hire).
