Job Summary :
The Radiologic Technologist performs high-quality radiology procedures according to established protocols, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging results. The role requires adherence to safety and regulatory standards while maintaining equipment and providing excellent patient care.
Essential Functions :
Perform radiology procedures in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of image quality.Understand and monitor radiation dose levels, taking appropriate actions when doses exceed reference levels.Use AIDET to communicate with patients, ensuring correct exams are performed and establishing rapport.Prepare patients and procedure areas, position patients correctly, adjust equipment, and set exposure factors.Follow safety, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies; use sterile techniques as required.Maintain equipment and work areas, collaborating with engineers and physicists for optimal operation.Report issues to management and assist in maintaining supply inventories.Key Success Factors
Ability to perform radiology procedures accurately and efficiently according to protocol.Effectively explain procedures and ensure patient comfort.Deliver services in a timely, accurate, and cost-efficient manner.Work independently with minimal oversight.Maintain composure under stress and resolve issues appropriately.Administer first aid and operate emergency equipment as needed.Ensure patient satisfaction by limiting wait times, providing courteous service, and reviewing feedback.Maintain updated knowledge and skills for all relevant age groups (newborn to geriatric).Serve as a preceptor to train new team members and support new services / initiatives.Qualifications :
Education & Certification :
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree).ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required.New graduates are welcome to apply.To Apply :
