American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring IR and Cath Lab experience, with on-call coverage and strong procedural skills.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an Interventional Radiology department covering both IR and invasive cardiology proceduresPredominantly interventional radiology caseload (85% IR and 15% cardiology / procedures)Typical shift schedule is 8-hour days from 07 : 30 to 16 : 00, Monday through FridayRequires participation in a rotating call schedule, including overnight and weekend call coveragePatient ratios are typically 1 : 3-4Procedures include peripheral vascular, EP device implants, and emergent STEMI casesEquipment used includes MAC Lab, IVUS, Toshiba Angio Lab, Angio Jet, Pneumbra Thromblis System, CSI, Bovi System, Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit, Venous Closure Unit, and Sono Site ultrasoundUses Epic EMR systemNo floating requiredProvide nursing coverage for urgent and emergent interventional radiology and cardiology proceduresCall coverage includes both overnight and weekend shifts distributed among staffCallback time for STEMIs is 30 minutes and IR callback time varies by procedureFirst time travelers are accepted for this positionA 16-hour unit orientation is providedScrubs are provided by the facilityRTO (time off) after booking is not permitted and any additional call offs may result in contract cancellation\n \n Requirements\n
