Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring open heart and heart recovery experience, as well as an AR or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a 17-bed ICU / CSICU within a hospital setting
  • Care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics
  • Patient population includes cardiovascular, surgical, and vascular intervention patients
  • Utilizes state-of-the-art technology and specialized equipment such as IABP, induced hypothermia, ECMO, and Impella Heart Pump
  • Day shift, 3x12 hours from 7 : 00 to 19 : 00
  • Cerner charting experience is preferred
  • Responsibilities include direct patient care and providing leadership within the nursing team
  • Opportunity to work within a Magnet-recognized, collaborative, and professional healthcare team
  • Team supports a wide range of interventional and non-interventional procedures as well as advanced therapies
  • Orientation provided in a family-friendly environment
  • Requires availability to complete lab onboarding items within 72 hours of offer acceptance
  • Position is designated as safety sensitive per Arkansas law
  • Time off (RTO) must be provided with application
  • Local candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Travel experience is highly preferred

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active AR or compact RN license in good standing, license in hand required for consideration
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required, BSN preferred
  • Minimum of two years of ICU experience preferred
  • Open heart and heart recovery experience required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Basic computer literacy required
  • Must provide two supervisor references from the last three years
