About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Operations to take on a pivotal executive leadership role. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing all operational divisions, driving performance, safety, and profitability across the organization. This includes managing multiple facilities and division directors, standardizing and improving SOPs, implementing and tracking operational KPIs, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The VP will also be responsible for leading initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction, as well as driving financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or operations management, with a Master's degree being a plus. A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, recycling, or environmental services is required, with a proven track record in managing multi-site operations and full P&L responsibility. The role demands a leader with strong financial acumen, experience in KPI management, and proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities are essential, as is familiarity with state and environmental compliance, particularly with NJDEP and PADEP. The VP will be evaluated on key performance indicators including divisional profitability, operational efficiency, safety record, and employee development metrics.
