With a focus on craft cocktails and elevated eats, Flight Club fuses premium cuisine and curated cocktails with its signature, technology‑driven social darts® experience to create a truly unique entertainment environment. State of Play Hospitality brought the concept to the U.S. Flight Club continues to surprise and delight with its ability to bring friends together in a unique, upscale social environment. To date, over 7 million people have tried their hand, and over 550 million darts have been thrown.

Position Purpose

The General Manager leads the way in culture and company values, while delivering entertainment unmatched in the market. This position is the leader of the team that is fully responsible and financially accountable for all the departments of the business in its entirety. This individual embraces our standards, systems, welcomes change within a growing company, and leads by example every shift. The General Manager understands business growth and the development of the team with improvement plans and continued training. The position is the liaison between team members, guests, and the support office that brings the venue together as one cohesive unit.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the restaurant team delivers upon service standards to cultivate the ultimate guest experience
  • Proactively receive feedback and propose solutions
  • Proactively forecast sales and labor projections, and hit target financial goals
  • Create Positive Energy

  • Manage and oversee entire venue daily operations
  • Inspire the team to enhance their leadership skills with consistent coaching
  • Empower the team to lead confidently
  • Recruiting, hiring and training of all venue staff
  • Test & Learn

  • Plan and execute venue local community marketing strategy
  • Ensures consistent execution of food, beverage, service and hospitality that aligns with company standards, policies, and programs
  • Own The Problem

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve company operational goals
  • Identify and monitor training and development needs
  • Oversee each manager’s area of responsibility and maintain deadlines
  • Requirements & Minimum Qualifications

  • Must pass a background check prior to being hired
  • 3yrs of General Manager experience in hospitality
  • 3yrs of P&L ownership experience
  • Competent in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Required food, alcohol, and allergen certification maintained throughout employment, additional state qualifications may apply per location
  • Available to work various shift times and days, including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and digitally
  • Results Oriented and Proactive Leader
  • Able to stand and / or walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift over 50+ lbs. if necessary
  • Legally authorized to work in the US
