Key Responsibilities
Travel to client sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot , and collect data on complex electrical systemsSupervise and guide Level I & II technicians and assistantsPerform maintenance and commissioning on low, medium, and high-voltage equipment , including switchgear, transformers, cables, and relaysCalibrate and test protective relays , power metering systems, and control circuitsConduct arc-flash and shock risk assessments; maintain detailed safety documentationCommission generator and high-voltage substation systemsEnsure full compliance with NFPA 70E , OSHA, and lockout / tag-out protocolsAssist sales and engineering teams with technical expertise and field insightsCandidate Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical power systems testing, troubleshooting, and maintenanceHands-on experience with switchgear, relays, transformers, motor controls, and substationsProven understanding of NETA ATS and MTS standardsStrong command of electrical safety protocols (NFPA70E)Valid driver's license and clean driving recordExcellent written communication and leadership skillsPreferred Qualifications
