Job Details

  • Registered Nurse position in ICU / IMC Float specialty.
  • Role involves floating between ICU main, ICU Overflow, and IMC (stepdown unit).
  • Shift options : 7a – 7p or 7p - 7a with 36 weekly guaranteed hours and rotating weekends.
  • Patient population includes Adult and Geriatric patients.
  • Common diagnoses / treatments include CABG, TAVR, STEMI, NSTEMI, Stroke, Trauma, cardiovascular, neuro, medical surgical ICU / IMC.
  • Facility is a Joint Commission Accredited community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds, Certified Chest Pain Center, Level 3 Trauma.
  • Experience required : 1 year travel, 1-2 years ICU.
  • Preferred skillset includes Mixed ICU, Cardiac / CVICU.

  • Current State License required.
  • 2 Years Recent Acute Experience required.
  • Required certifications : ACLS (Preferred : TNCC, PALS).
  • Must have ICU / Critical Care skills and experience.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift options : 7a – 7p or 7p - 7a.
  • 36 weekly guaranteed hours.
  • Rotating weekends.
  • No block schedule requests; 48 hour shifts can be considered but not guaranteed.
  • Candidate shift preference flexibility indicated (day or night, or only days / nights).

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Unit : ICU and IMC (stepdown unit).
  • Number of Beds : ICU – 16, IMC – 30 (including ICU Overflow).
  • Patient Ratios : ICU – 1 : 2, IMC – 1 : 3 or 1 : 4.
  • Equipment used includes Baxter Infusion Pumps and GE Monitoring.
  • EHR system : Medhost.
  • Patient population : Adult / Geriatric.
  • Common diagnoses / treatments : CABG, TAVR, STEMI, NSTEMI, Stroke, Trauma, cardiovascular, neuro, medical surgical ICU / IMC.
  • Dress Code : Black Scrubs.
