ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Job Details :

Work in new Intermediate Care unit as part of the Float Pool

ICU RN experience required

Care for Med / Surg, PCU, and ICU patient populations

Expected patient ratio is 1 : 3

May float to other Stepdown and Med / Surg units as needed but will not likely float to critical care units

Perform procedures including A-line, Bair Hugger System, FMS Systems, IV Insulin, IV Infusion / Endo, Stable DKA, IPAP, Non-Invasive Ventilation, Telemetry, Peripheral Cath Withdrawals

No phlebotomy responsibilities

Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under physician direction

Use nursing process to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Direct nursing support staff according to standards of practice and policies

Graduate of accredited nursing school required, Bachelor's degree preferred

1 year experience in clinical specialty area preferred

PA or MSL Compact Registered Nurse License required

Basic Life Support certification required

Additional certifications may be required per specialty area
