Accounts Payable Manager

We are working with a growing organization that is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager. The Accounts Payable Manager will lead process improvement and change management within a busy AP department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys solving problems, and can drive structure through transition.

Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Manager

  • Oversee all aspects of Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, payments, and vendor relations
  • Lead process improvement and change management initiatives to streamline operations
  • Develop, train, and mentor AP staff while promoting collaboration and accountability
  • Partner with accounting leadership on month-end close and reporting
  • Implement best practices to improve accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls

    • Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Manager

  • 7+ years of progressive AP experience, including management or supervisory roles
  • Proven background in process improvement and change management
  • Strong systems and Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • CPA or Controller-level background a plus (must be comfortable focusing solely on AP management)
