Counter Sales Specialist

Hose & Rubber Supply is a regional company in the Rocky Mountain West with six store locations over five states. We strive to identify and satisfy our customers needs with our extensive hose and fitting knowledge large hydraulic and industrial hose and fittings inventory and hydraulic CNC tube bender. We pride ourselves on problem solving for our wide variety of customers whether in the oilfield construction medical manufacturing military or government.

As a Counter Sales Specialist you would be responsible for providing customer service at the counter by understanding Hose & Rubbers products and applications and processing customer orders at our store in Williston ND. This is a full-time position with benefits.

The Counter Sales Specialist duties include but are not limited to :

• Greet and work with customers at the counter to identify and satisfy the customers needs for a quote / order in a profitable and timely manner
• Receive phone calls and emails and work with the sales team and customers to identify and satisfy the customers needs for quotes / orders in a profitable and timely manner
• For items the store does not carry create a PO and send to vendor / other branch.
• Prepare and assemble customer orders.
• Package and ship customer orders per customer requirements
• Work with Field Sales Representatives to generate more business by providing referrals and following up for the results
• Ensure inventory accuracy by updating the system when issues are seen or working with the Warehouse to get issues resolved.
