Duties and Responsibilities : This position is responsible for providing support to the Office of General Counsel and its staff.  Responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Assisting with light secretarial duties (copying files, emailing, answering the phone, and taking done messages.)
• Performing general legal research,
• Assisting with activities related to the Board of Regents and its meetings, including posting meeting agendas and assisting with meeting minutes.
• Providing a preliminary review of Open Records Request received by the office.
• Assisting with document review and discovery request for the University’s outside counsel

Qualification and requirements :  Interest in legal research and legal writing, at least two years of college experience. Must adhere to the confidentiality policies.
