Senior Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant responsible for the publication of marketing reports and the routine monitoring of aged accounts receivable levels. This role requires compliance with company standards, including the correct performance of SOX controls. The Senior Accountant will handle monthly and quarterly accrual calculations for marketing programs and manage vendor billing. Additionally, this position involves developing and maintaining the account analysis and reconciliation process, preparing General Ledger journal entries, and supporting audit requests.

Responsibilities :

• Publish monthly and quarterly marketing reports for vendor billing.
• Monitor aged accounts receivable levels and communicate with vendors.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and SOX controls.
• Calculate monthly and quarterly accruals for marketing programs.
• Conduct quarterly billing to vendors for marketing programs.
• Develop and maintain account analysis and reconciliation processes.
• Prepare General Ledger journal entries for month-end close.
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, ensuring all details meet audit requirements.
• Support external and internal audit requests.
• Lead internal process improvements within the team and organization.
• Handle ad-hoc analysis requests from finance and other departments.

Work Environment :

The position is based at our corporate headquarters in Southlake. The team consists of 8 staff accountants, reporting to a manager who oversees 23 individuals across different groups.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roanoke, Texas.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $45.00 / hr.
