$1,810 per week

About The Position

Job Title : RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : Inpatient

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : 2 years preferred

License : RN - Single State or RN - Multi-state Compact

Certifications : BLS - Basic Life Support, ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Must-Have :

  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills

Description :

The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers.

They ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized high-quality and safe patient care.

They practice in a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and supported through a Shared Governance Model.

The framework for practice is steered by the Professional Practice Model, evidence-based practice, and research.

RN competencies are derived from these models and supported by the organizational values.

All RN Clinical Nurses Critical Care are expected to be licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by relevant regulatory bodies.

They implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards as put forth by the American Nurses Association.

As a member of the patient services team, individuals must uphold the voice of the patient while supporting service excellence goals.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions :

  • Perform the Nursing Process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics.
  • Partner with patients and significant others for effective communication and care planning.
  • Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration while promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support shared governance.
  • Complete all required professional competency assessments and ongoing education.
  • Serve as a preceptor and mentor for other professional nurses and staff.
  • Promote evidence-based practice and nursing research.
  • Uphold health care system policies and clinical competencies.
  • Participate in data collection and clinical question formulation.
  • Plan proactively for the care of patients across the care continuum.
  • Collaborate with care managers and other healthcare team members to develop protocols and procedures.
  • Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

    • Required Minimum Education :

    Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor's Degree in nursing from an accredited institution.

    Required Minimum Experience :

    Experience with direct patient care is preferred.
