Learning Early Center Head Teacher

• 8 hour shift 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Job Focus :

The Lead Teacher is responsible for providing planning and implementing a successful safe and supervised educational setting which is age and developmentally appropriate. The Lead Teacher is also responsible for promoting the social emotional physical and cognitive development of the students and encouraging parent involvement in all aspects of the program. The Lead Teacher completes daily reports maintains student portfolios and provides on-going assessments. This position is also responsible for supervision of volunteers assistants aides and or student teachers assigned to the classroom.

Hours : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Degree (Associates or above) in Early Childhood Education is preferred

CDA (Child Development Associate) certificate or equivalent with 3 years experience

Must meet requirements of city and state licensing agencies (CPR First Aid & TB Skin test)

Must pass extensive background check
