IT Portfolio Governance Manager (Hybrid)

A Client of Insight Global is seeking an IT Portfolio Governance Manager to join our team. The IT Portfolio Governance Manager will ensure the organization's project portfolio is strategically aligned, effectively prioritized, and consistently executed. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining governance frameworks, driving portfolio-level oversight, and enabling informed decision-making across business units. This position will serve as a key liaison between senior leadership, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure transparency, accountability, and successful delivery of initiatives that support organizational goals. This position offers a hybrid schedule, providing flexibility to work from home or the office.

Required Skills & Experience

5-7 years of exp in project / portfolio governance, or program management role

Bachelor's degree

PMO lead or management experience

Exp establishing governance frameworks and managing enterprise-level portfolios

Strong understanding of portfolio and project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile)

Advanced Microsoft Excel

PM software and portfolio tracking tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, ServiceNow)

Must be very polished, able to present to executive leadership

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or Portfolio Management (e.g., PfMP)
