Descripción del trabajo100% outpatient role with no inpatient responsibilities 4-day workweek (1.0 FTE) Dedicated time for administrative tasks (charting, team meetings, patient coordination) Opportunity to work in a scenic, close-knit rural community Board Certified / Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Comfort with supervision and managing diverse patient populations Experience with Medi-Cal, uninsured, and underserved populations preferred Commitment to rural primary care and team-based medicine. Salary floor + productivity incentives based on patient volume and quality metrics $75,000 Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance Loan Repayment Eligibility : NHSC and CalHealthCares CME Allowance Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) Malpractice Coverage : Provided through Barton Health, including tail coverage. Paid Time Off (PTO) + separate sick leave Potential to adjust clinic days over time Adequate support from sub-specialty physicians within the group Avoid the hassle of permanent relocation by taking on temporary assignments in various locations, experiencing different communities without long-term commitment. About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to provide full-spectrum outpatient care for patients of all ages in the picturesque community of Lake Tahoe, California.
This position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive care in a Certified Rural Health Clinic (RHC), ensuring a diverse patient experience. You will be working with a supportive team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and must be comfortable with supervision.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide outpatient primary care across all age groups
- See 16-20 patients per day to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Work within a team-based care model
- Participate in value-based care initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
- No after-hours call
- Option to precept students / residents (if desired)
