Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients an Engineering Manager - Blockchain - this is a fully remote role and candidates can be based globally. Salary range : 180-200K USD yearly.

We are building programmable, intent-based infrastructure on NEAR Protocol — making blockchain interactions smoother, smarter, and more composable.

We’re now looking for an Engineering Manager to accelerate execution across projects, partner integrations, and cross-team initiatives. This role is about making things happen : ensuring technical projects are delivered on time, partner integrations run smoothly, and internal teams are fully aligned.

You’ll :

Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team; create an environment of ownership, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.

Project Delivery : Own delivery pipelines across engineering streams; track progress, identify risks, and keep projects moving toward milestones.

Technical Guidance : Provide architectural and technical guidance, ensuring best practices in code quality, system design, and scalability.

Integrations : Oversee technical integrations with partners, customers, and ecosystem teams, collaborating closely with Partner Engineers and TPMs.

Reliability Management : Be responsible for SLI / SLOs, incident response, and postmortems; drive alignment on reliability standards and risk tolerance across the company.

Execution Focus : Build and maintain delivery dashboards, timelines, and communication cadences for internal and external stakeholders.

Cross-Team Coordination : Ensure engineering, product, and partner teams stay aligned through clear processes and structured follow-ups.

Process & Tools : Introduce pragmatic delivery tools, reporting, and frameworks to help engineering scale efficiently. Foster a dynamic, accountable performance culture.

Stakeholder Communication : Provide regular delivery and technical updates to leadership and partners; highlight risks early and propose actionable solutions.

You have :

5+ years of experience in engineering management , technical delivery , or program management .

Experience leading software teams and managing technical integrations across products, platforms, or APIs.

Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles and systems architecture (message-based, event-driven systems).

Solid understanding of blockchain or distributed systems, ideally with Ethereum experience.

Hands-on technical background; able to review code or guide design discussions in TypeScript, Rust, Go, or Solidity.

Excellent organizational and execution skills — able to balance delivery, people, and process.

Strong communication — can translate between technical depth and business context.

Calm, structured, and solution-oriented under pressure.

Contributions to open-source software.
