Orthodontic Assistant - TRIAD ORTHODONTICS (GREENSBORO-NICHOLAS)

Triad Orthodontic is offering a full-time opportunity as an Orthodontic Assistant at our Greensboro-Nicholas Rd office. We are an upbeat team looking for an individual who has a passion for helping others and wants to make a positive difference in their community.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Work chair-side with Orthodontist, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
  • Preparing and taking patient molds
  • Changing out rubber bands, wires, and brackets
  • Adjusting fit of clear aligners such as Invisalign
  • Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
  • Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

    • At a Glance

  • Certifications Required : CDA or RDA.
  • Additional Certifications : X-ray certification is a plus.
  • Experience : No previous experience required but must have Dental Assistant certification
  • Job Type : Full-time

    • Compensation and Schedule

  • Salary : Starting at $17.00 depending on certifications. Additional increases for experience
  • Bonus Pay : up to $300 additional per month
  • Schedule : On-site. Monday - Friday
