Financial Integrators, a dynamic, holistic wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Retirement Plans Service Associate to join our Qualified Retirement Plans team. This role collaborates with financial advisors, plan sponsors, recordkeepers, and Third Party Administrators (TPAs) to provide our clients with the best possible service. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of the financial services industry, as well as the needs of businesses of all sizes. Expert knowledge of retirement plans, a commitment to excellent client service, and strong communication skills are crucial to being successful in this position.

Specific job duties include, but are not limited to :

  • Mentoring and providing expert, technical guidance to financial professionals, plan sponsors and team members on complex retirement plan situations
  • Preparation and expert review of retirement plan paperwork, including recordkeeper, broker / dealer, RIA, and TPA forms
  • Creation and analysis of retirement plan reports, including, but not limited to, RPAG fee benchmarking and prospecting reports
  • Reviewing, analyzing and interpreting investment and plan recordkeeper reports
  • Assisting plan sponsors with complex plan and administrative questions and processes
  • Leading the plan design and compliance functions with TPAs and other stakeholders
  • Acting as the primary facilitator for discussions between financial professionals, clients, recordkeepers, and TPAs
  • Preparing client meeting agendas, taking immediate action on post-client meeting work items
  • Continuously collaborates with Relationship Manager, Retirement Plan Associates and other team members to update processes, procedures to bring efficiencies to the team.
  • Complete Plan Onboarding in conjunction with financial professionals, plan sponsors and plan participants, as needed. Provide plan participant support where needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

Qualifications include :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; degree in Finance or similar field of study desired
  • 5+ years of experience with retirement plan administration or consultation
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills required
  • Strong ability to mentor and train others in retirement plan-specific knowledge
  • Ability to gather and analyze client data
  • Skill in identifying and completing client and team needs by conducting root cause analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently & accurately
  • Self-starter, problem solver, goal oriented, and a team player
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship building skills required
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Standing or sitting for extended periods of time in an office environment
  • Working on a computer for extended periods of time
  • Lifting up to 15 pounds
