About the Role
The Company is in need of an Associate General Counsel with a focus on subrogation, products liability, general negligence, and plaintiff personal injury law. The successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse caseload, including handling legal claims for plaintiffs, conducting legal research, and preparing various legal documents. This role also involves developing case strategies, advising clients, and negotiating settlements to ensure the best possible outcomes. The Associate General Counsel will be expected to represent clients in court, maintain a strong knowledge of relevant laws and legal trends, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the legal process.
Applicants must be members in good standing of the Florida Bar, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the specified practice areas. Strong negotiation, litigation, and legal research skills are essential, as is the ability to manage a high-volume caseload and competing priorities. The role requires excellent communication, both written and verbal, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A client-focused approach and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients are also key qualifications for this position.
