Documentation System : CPN

Staffing : 1 RN per shift, with 24 / 7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) coverage

Estimated Weekly Salary

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,780 - $1,910 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Tennessee or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Level 2 Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Postpartum nursing experience preferred

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE

Clinical skills : IV initiation, phototherapy, bubble CPAP maintenance, tube feeding, NAS care, preterm infant care, NRP proficiency

L&D Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to laboring mothers and newborns in a Level 2 L&D unit

Monitor patients using GE Monitors and accurately document care in the CPN system

Perform advanced clinical procedures : IV initiation, phototherapy, bubble CPAP maintenance, tube feeding, NAS and preterm baby care

Assist with lumbar punctures, circumcisions, IV medication administration, and support Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) with specialized procedures

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment for patients and their families
