Vice President II, Markets and Policy Analysis

Responsibilities
Create client-focused content aligned with BNY business objectives for use worldwide.
Translate complex financial, technology and industry topics into clear, accessible content for internal and external audiences.
Conduct in-depth review and analysis of emerging geopolitical, policy and regulatory developments in partnership with subject-matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Support publication of newsletters tracking global policy developments relevant to the bank and our clients.
Continuously learn and adapt content strategies based on feedback and evolving client needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience; master's degree preferred.
7–10 years of total work experience, with preference for experience at think tanks, news outlets or consulting firms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to synthesize complex topics and translate expert knowledge into compelling content.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Strong judgment, independent work style and ability to manage competing priorities.
Capacity to absorb large volumes of new information quickly and identify key insights.
Knowledge of financial markets, geopolitical developments and policy processes relevant to banking and financial services.
Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams across regions.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Benefits and Compensation
Base Salary
$83,000–$175,000 per year (location and experience dependent).
Additional compensation may include bonus opportunities, short- and long-term incentive plans, and company-sponsored benefit programs.
The role is at-will and the company reserves the right to modify base and discretionary compensation as business needs evolve.
