CT Technologist (Geneva)

Job Title : CT Technologist Department : Radiology Location : Geneve Destination Campus, floating to Clifton Springs Hospital when needed Hours Per Week : 40 Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 Hour Day Shifts, Weekend Rotation Sign-on Bonus : Up to $20,000 SUMMARY : As a CT Technologist, your ability to empathize with patients, specialized technical skills, and dedication to quality, greatly enhances the overall success of imaging and the department as a whole. RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Patient Care - Responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and Interventional CT guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues / needs.
• Documentation - Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts.
• Daily Maintenance - Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock and prepare rooms. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
• Two year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent.
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology (or) must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) within six months of employment.
• Effective 7 / 16 / 2018 - NYS Injection Certification within six months of employment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
• Prior Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work in various software applications preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills preferred. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
