We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Manager / Supervisor to oversee financial operations and reporting for project-based activities. This role is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and requires an experienced, detail-oriented individual who can ensure compliance with accounting standards while driving process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of project accounting practices.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with project managers and operational teams to review costs, revenue recognition, and adherence to accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to create variance reports that assess project performance and profitability.
• Manage billing, collections, and contract-related financial matters for multiple projects.
• Supervise and mentor project accounting staff, providing training and conducting performance reviews.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance in project accounting processes.
• Facilitate audits by preparing accurate financial documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency in project accounting operations.
• Utilize accounting and project management software to monitor project costs, invoicing, and financial reporting.
