American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager with acute care experience and a current WA or Compact RN license for a day shift hospital position.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is based in the Case Management department of an acute care hospitalPatient care includes units such as ICU, PCU, ED, Family Birth, and Adult MedicalAverage daily census is 30 patientsAssignment is 13 weeks with 5x8 hour day shifts; a 4x10 option may be available upon requestEvery other weekend requiredNo on-call requirementsFloating is required within scope to like units as neededEPIC is the charting system usedProvide case management across diverse inpatient settings including ICU, PCU, emergency, and family birth unitsResponsible for care coordination, discharge planning, and utilization reviewTravelers must be willing to float as needed between similar unitsMust be open to discussing potential temp-to-perm opportunities if asked during interviewCompliance with all onboarding requirements must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptanceProfessional dress is required; specific scrub color guidelines will be provided at assignmentReturning employees must have a 3-month gap between permanent and travel positions and not live within 50 miles\n \n Requirements\n
Active WA or Compact RN license required at time of considerationMinimum of 2 years recent inpatient acute care experience is requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredCCM or ACM certification preferredExperience with Milliman Guidelines or InterQual Criteria is preferredEPIC charting experience preferredThis assignment does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facilityFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyPending licenses are not accepted\n Benefits\n
