Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Radiology Tech- Mammography.

As a Radiology Tech- Mammography at MercyOne, you will performs radiographic procedures at a level not requiring constant guidance or assistance.   Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment in applying prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.   Assumes responsibility for particular areas of specialization as assigned.

• Performs mammography procedures including needle localizations, etc.
• Adheres to MQSA guidelines and overall technologist's responsibility for the mammography MQSA program. Maintains required educational credits in mammography.
• Takes part in annual FDA / State of Iowa Bureau of Radiological Health Inspections.
• Performs all routine radiographic procedures and views according to department procedures.
• Performs and / or assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. Prepares and / or administers contrast media, i.e., orally, IV, rectally, etc. per department and Radiologist's policies.
Schedule :
• Full Time
• Days, Rotating
• Rotating shifts (6a-2 : 30p, 7a-3 : 30p, or 8a-4 : 30p)and every 3rd weekend 6a-2 : 30p
